Do you ever dream of starting your own business as an entrepreneur? Or does entrepreneurship seem exciting to you, but you're still unsure if you can do it, don't yet know enough about what it involves, or haven't decided on the product or service you want to offer? Then the ‘Introduction to Entrepreneurship’ (IoE) training is the perfect course for you!

What does this training entail?
In five weeks, you will learn what entrepreneurship involves, what the advantages and disadvantages can be, and you will receive an introduction to important topics such as a business plan, financial plan, and market research. As the name suggests, 'Introduction to Entrepreneurship' is an orientation, a first acquaintance with key topics. This training serves as an introduction to entrepreneurship and also as preparation for the 'Small Business Academy' (SBA) or other follow-up programs in the field of entrepreneurship, where participants delve much deeper into these subjects.
By the end of this training, you will have a concrete foundation for your business plan and a clear idea of the product or service you want to sell. And, not unimportantly, by the end of the training, you will know whether being an entrepreneur is truly your passion or if you might choose a different path.
Practical information
- The cost for this training is {kosten-ite}. The amount must be paid before the start date of the training.
- The classes will take place twice a week, on weekdays, from 18:00 to 21:00 for five weeks.
- Location: The Qredits Sint Maarten office, 15 Walter J.A. Nisbeth Road, Philipsburg.
Prior education
A specific prior education? That is not necessary. What we find important is your motivation and availability. At the time of your registration, we would like to hear why you want to start this program. Your story is important to us. To follow the program effectively, it is essential that you have access to a computer or laptop and the internet. The 'e-learning' can only be accessed online!
