Qredits officially launched the first-ever Agri Business Academy (ABA) on Sint Maarten.
Inspiring Young Minds Through Reading and Entrepreneurship
Philipsburg, 17 September 2024 — In celebration of Literacy Month, Qredits Sint Maarten partnered with the Rotary Club of St. Martin Sunrise to bring a day of inspiration and learning to the students of Oranje School. Volunteers from Qredits visited the school to read engaging stories to the children, sparking their imaginations and encouraging a lifelong love for reading.
But the visit went beyond storytelling. In a creative twist, the volunteers also introduced the students to the world of entrepreneurship, using simple, relatable examples to show how everyday ideas can grow into real business opportunities. Through interactive discussions, the children learned that with creativity, determination, and a bit of planning, they too could become future business owners.
The initiative aimed to do more than just entertain it was designed to plant seeds of ambition and innovation in young minds. By combining literacy with entrepreneurship, Qredits and the Rotary Club hope to nurture a generation of confident, curious, and capable individuals who are ready to shape their own futures.
Qredits remains committed to community engagement and youth empowerment, recognizing that early exposure to reading and entrepreneurship can have a lasting impact on personal development and economic resilience.
